How to Get Twitter Followers–Behind the Scenes with @WarriorWoman91

That’s right. If you are a nobody like myself that wants followers you are going to have to do the legwork of actively following other people. This can be slow going at first due to Twitter’s various restrictions on fledgling accounts, but with a little dose of patience and a knack for finding good followers you will start to see that uptick in your follower number that you so desperately desire.

Follow Back

Especially at the beginning of your Twitter life, following people back is a must. Unless you are a celebrity already, people are more likely to unfollow you if you do not follow back within a reasonable amount of time. Conclusion: if you want your followers to stay, following them back gives them a good reason.

Once your Twitter site exceeds a certain size (generally happens post 10k) you’ll realize it’s impossible to follow everybody back and the requirement of doing so will subside. However, even at my almost 100k I still make an effort to follow people back, particularly those who interact with me in my mentions or in hashtags.

Respond

Responding to people that mention you is a great way to build up an active following. Using the quote tweet method is my new favorite way of doing this, especially if I’m responding to something particularly clever.

Even people that write nasty or stupid things to you are often times worth responding to. Again, this is why I love the quote tweet methods since you can use Andrew Breitbart’s retweet the hate doctrine to expose it in addition to responding with your own comment for all to see.

Retweet

Find people that posts things you like and retweet them! Trust me, they’ll notice and appreciate it oftentimes to the point of giving you a followback or a retweet in return. Retweet unto others as you would have them retweet unto you.

Interact

Talk to people! Seek good ideas out and comment on them! You make far more connections by actually participating in the public forum that is Twitter, rather than sitting in your secure little safe space waiting for people to talk to you.

Don’t Post Crap

You’re not alone on Twitter. Contrary to spambot belief, I don’t care about your stupid save the hedgehog posts or weight loss secrets. Your posts should have as much benefit for others as they do for yourself. If you send me stuff that has lots of spammy, cussword filled content, I have no problem with blocking you. Therefore, if you don’t want to be treated like a bot, don’t act like one.

1. Follow other people’s followers (also known as harvesting)

2. Follow listed people (check out my favorite list “Those People” for those people you should be following)

3. Follow people big Twitter sites are following (try @benshapiro or @anncoulter for starters)

4. Follow people who retweeted or liked a post (also known as raising revenue)

5. Follow me @warriorwoman91 cause I #Shoutout good people to follow.

Recapping the Great Election between @BenShapiro and @Nero (Guess Who Won!)

It was a dark and stormy night…well it was last Sunday evening when I realized the most haunting question that every Breitbart binge reader [like myself] wants answered: Shapiro or Yiannopoulos? Thus began the great showdown between the two Titans.

 

The stakes were high–the winner of this great election would be forever known as the king of Twitter and would henceforth be referred to as “his excellency.” Even from the beginning Twitter fans were aghast at the daunting task set before them: to choose between the man who shapiroed Piers Morgan right off of CNN or the man who wipes the floor with feminist faces on a daily basis.

 

 

Seeing as how my followers tend to favor our dear leader Ben Shapiro, it was no surprise that early polling placed him in a startling lead over Yiannopoulos. When I reached out to @Nero for comment he seemed unusually willing to concede to Shapiro…but this of course was all part of his devious plan.

 

Shapiro himself did not seem to see himself as the clear winner this early on in the game considering Yiannopoulos’ royal heritage.

 

Then the election went gangbusters as each side pulled out all the stops in the attempt to prove who was more popular on Twitter. Fans evaluated hair length, eyebrows, hair style, upper lips…oh yeah and debate skillz.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Suddenly the great election of 2015 took a turn in the other direction, and Yiannopoulos began pulling ahead so fast he had to apologize to Shapiro for knocking him over on the way.

 

IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE! The man that came to fame by intellectually destroying one Brit on live T.V. was being trounced in an election with another.

 

As the election came down to the wire, I contacted the unions to drag people to the polls and get them to cast their ballots!

 

 

Even my mom got involved!

 

While many of my own followers rallied for Shapiro, it was clear that Yiannopoulos’ cult following was much more passionate…and nefarious.

 

Never underestimate the ingenuity of a Brit, as Yiannopoulos’ hair pushed him far over the top in a crushing defeat of the man who made shapiroing a verb!

I announced Yiannopoulos’ victory to the masses, which was met with cries of joy and rapture from some and suspicion from others.

 

 

In the end Shapiro conceded to the simple fact that in a Twitter election, hair is everything.

 

In conclusion, based on my findings I would highly recommend all current and future presidential candidates immediately stampede to their hair stylists and bleach their hair Yiannopoulos blonde, as anything otherwise could cost them their elections too!
