Mitch McConnell recently came out and said that he’s “a big fan of the Tea Party.” Really Mitch? Really?

No really?

I guess our dear Senate minority leader has forgotten the time he called Tea Partiers (people who take donations from FreedomWorks and the Senate Conservatives Fund) enemies of his.

“FreedomWorks and the Senate Conservatives Fund worked hard to unseat me, and I want you to be very clear on this. If any of you take a dollar from either FreedomWorks or the Senate Conservatives Fund, you’re an enemy of mine.”

And I’m sure dear Mitch neglected to remember saying that the GOP needs to “stand up to” the Tea Party.

And certainly dear McConnell has overlooked his statement that the Tea Party is “nothing but a bunch of bullies” that need a “punch … in the nose.”

And dear Mickey (Mouse) of course drew a blank with regards to his statement that the Tea Party is “giving conservatism a bad name.”

And absolutely old McConnald allowed it to escape his memory that the Tea Party is running their own candidate Matt Bevin against him in 2014.
